Just like chard and beets, spinach is a member of the Amaranth family. Spinach is full of nutrients, like potassium, vitamin C and iron, just to name a few, and has a sweet, healthy taste. Spinach can be added to just about anything - try eating it raw in a salad, blended into smoothies or juiced. Spinach can be steamed, sauteed or stewed and added to almost any hot dish.
