Garden Tour Sweepstakes Official Rules

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

The Sweepstakes opens on 3/9/2022 at 12 PM ET and closes on 3/31/2021 at 12 PM EST. Winners will be drawn and announced on 4/1/2022 and notified via Instagram or Facebook Direct Messages on 4/1/2022. 

This sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, administered, or associated with Instagram or Facebook. By entering, entrants confirm they are 18+ years of age, release Instagram and Facebook of responsibility, and agree to Instagram and Facebook's terms of use.

HOW TO ENTER (Instagram):

For one entry:  Follow @oakspringgardenfoundation, like the Giveaway post, and tag a garden-loving friend in the comments section.

 For two entries: Follow @oakspringgardenfoundation, like the Giveaway post, tag a garden-loving friend in the comment section, post a garden or landscape picture that you love to your feed or story with the hashtag #oakspringtour22 and tag @oakspringgardenfoundation. 

HOW TO ENTER (Facebook):

For one entry: Like the Oak Spring Garden Foundation page, like the Giveaway post, and comment #oakspringtour22 in the comments section.

For two entries: Like the Oak Spring Garden Foundation page, like the Giveaway post, and post a garden or landscape picture you love in the comments section with the hashtag #oakspringtour22.

Limit two entries per Facebook account and two entries per Instagram account. Individuals may enter the contest on both platforms. All entries enter the same pool for the random drawing.

ELIGIBILITY:

The Sweepstakes is only open to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age at date of entry. Entrants who do not comply with these requirements or these Official Sweepstakes Rules are not eligible to win a prize. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. ALL U.S. FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY.  

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD; DEADLINE:

The Sweepstakes begins at 12 PM EST on 3/9/2022 and ends at 12PM EST on 3/31/2022. Winners will be drawn and notified on 4/1/2022. All dates and times are subject to change. 

ODDS FOR SWEEPSTAKES:

Sweepstakes winners will be selected by random draw. Actual odds of winning a particular sweepstakes depend on the number of eligible entries received.

PRIZES: 

Twenty winners will each receive the opportunity to register for two free timed-entry tickets, valued at $125 each, for Oak Spring’s Spring 2022 Garden Tour on either April 18th or April 19th,  2022. The timed-entry spots will fill on a first-come, first-serve basis, with 20 spots available per each tour day.

ACCEPTING PRIZES:

Prize winners will be notified by Instagram or Facebook Direct Message on April 1, 2022. All winners must reply to the Direct Message with their full name and email address within a week of notification in order to receive their prize. The OSGF Events Coordinator will then contact winners via email with the free tickets PROMO code, the link to the Garden Tour Eventbrite page, and further instructions.

All ticket holders must adhere to OSGF’s COVID-19 policies, Official Sweepstakes Rules, and provide the OSGF Events Coordinator with their full name and email address. If a winner chooses to transfer their prize to a friend or family member, those individuals must also adhere to the COVID-19 Policies and Official Sweepstake Rules and provide the Events Coordinator with their full name and email address. 

The tickets cannot be exchanged, reimbursed, or resold.  Free tickets are NOT eligible for a refund.

COVID-19 POLICY AND REQUIREMENTS:

The Oak Spring Garden Foundation is committed to the safety of our staff and our guests. All Garden Tour guests are required to be fully vaccinated including a booster (if eligible) and to wear a mask when indoors. Guests who may be experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms at the time of the event are requested to not attend.

MISCONDUCT:

The Oak Spring Garden Foundation reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify or refuse entry to any person who (i) acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy or harass another person; or (ii) is otherwise in violation of these Official Promotion Rules. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify from the Promotion and ban from any future Promotions, any person it believes to have intentionally violated these Official Promotion Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or to have tampered with any element of the Promotion without notice to the disqualified or banned person.
