Kathy Olimpi

Assistant to the President

Kathy is the Assistant to The President. She began working at Oak Spring Farm in 2004 and transitioned to the Foundation after it started up in its current form in early 2016. Her work experience includes bookkeeping, floral design, working as an administrative assistant for Mrs. Mellon as well as many other assorted and varied ventures. In addition to assisting Foundation President Peter Crane, she assists with the Foundation’s other administrative work and does OSGF’s floral arrangements.

In her free time, Kathy enjoys tending to her yard and home. She enjoys travel and visits to local and destination gardens, arboretums and historic sites. Among her favorite plants are bloom-filled hydrangea and agapanthus, a spectacular blue flower that is widespread in California.
