Skip Glascock
Head of Facilities and Infrastructure
Skip Glascock is Head of Facilities and Infrastructure at OSGF. Previously the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor at what was then Rokeby Farms, Skip has been working at Oak Spring since April 1982. He was born and raised in nearby Marshall, VA, and still lives a short five minute walk away from where he grew up.
Before he came to work at the Oak Spring property, Skip worked for six years part time and six years full time for his father, a local electrician. His job at OSGF is to manage all construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects for the property.
In his free time, Skip enjoys fishing, hiking and exploring history. His passion is acoustic music. As a singer and songwriter, he performs locally with a group called “Cobbler Mountain Grass,” in which he plays guitar, banjo and resonator guitar. Skip’s favorite plant is the Dogwood Tree.
